Media Magazine Presentation Evaluation

Overall I feel that my Media Magazine presentation was fairly successful.

Good focus on the magazine issue, fantasy, and exploration of genre.

Exploration of the horror genre - wider contexts and controversial aspects 

Clear engagement with magazine and wider media issues e.g. Dexter - Picks up the way this genre plays with audience expectations.

Main article - Impact of 9/11 on film and TV was well explored. Spoke about immediate patriotic films and TV series' after 9/11 e.g. Spider man/24, however gradually more sympathetic views towards villains e.g. X men and less typical Eastern European and Muslim villains.

Delivery of the presentation could have been better and more entertaining. This could have been improved by better preparation and planning of the presentation.

Overall I agree that my research and detail of presentation was good as I explored the main articles in my magazine well and used a range of media examples throughout.

However to improve if I prepared and organised my presentation it would have been more entertaining and appealing to the audience as it came across as very spontaneous and rambling due to the fact that I didn't prepare my presentation and only researched.
